1. WELCOME
==========

Welcome to Novobot, the offline RSS news feed reader. Novobot gets news
headlines from many XML sources available on the Web as a syndicated
content. It can also scrape ordinary web pages for headlines. Novobot
displays headlines and links in the main window so that you can quickly
browse through them and launch your default web browser to visit article
sources. Novobot delivers news to your desktop, saving you time and
effort.

There are other newsreaders that work in online mode and show news feeds
when connected to the internet. Novobot supports offline mode by saving
all headlines for later reading, providing persistent reading position
so that you can continue where you have left off.

Novobot offers unprecedented feed reading convenience, better workflow
and visual appeal. Not only you see all your news in one place, an
entire feed at a time, but now you can categorize your news channels
much as one well-known music player application enables you to
categorize your music. Tune into the news with Novobot!
